How Molvireta collects, uses, shares, and protects the information readers give us.

Last reviewed: 2 September 2026

1. Scope and application

As an editorial catalogue and booking-enquiry directory for premier accommodation, Molvireta takes on a firm duty to protect individual records and to maintain transparency wherever readers interact with the service.

This document sets out what Molvireta collects, how it is organised and used, when it is transferred, and how it is protected when you browse the catalogue, read ratings, register a profile, or submit an accommodation request.

2. Categories of information gathered

Delivering accurate lodging information, verified reviews, and dependable enquiry handling requires us to process the following categories:

Personal identity and contact information
Your name, title, language preference, country or region, email contact, and telephone details provided during profile creation or enquiry submission.
Reservation preferences
Arrival and departure dates, room and bed configuration, suite category, dietary notes, accessibility requests, and any loyalty membership reference.
Billing and payment confirmation records
The cardholder's name, masked card identifiers, billing location, and confirmation tokens issued by certified payment intermediaries. Complete card numbers never reach Molvireta systems.
Technical metadata
Your IP address, browser build, operating system, the page that referred you, time zone setting, device identifiers, and timestamps for page interactions.

3. Legal grounds and operational purposes

Processing takes place only under an established lawful ground — contractual necessity, legitimate interest, legal obligation, or consent you have given. Those grounds support the following purposes:

Enquiry fulfilment
Relaying your dates and requirements to the property's reservations desk so it can answer with current availability.
Editorial personalisation
Shaping featured rankings and travel guidance around your preferred destinations and resort types.
Fraud prevention and security
Defending the platform's infrastructure, checking that submissions are genuine, and protecting profiles from unauthorised access.
Keeping you informed
Sending enquiry updates, confirmations, itinerary reminders, and necessary customer service notices.
Statutory adherence
Satisfying accounting disclosure, tax reporting, and other duties imposed by the jurisdictions in which we operate.

4. Disclosure and partners

There is no sale, rental, or leasing of personal identifiers to unrelated commercial entities. Disclosures occur strictly under contractual protection to the parties below:

Hospitality partners
Listed hotels receive the minimum needed — name, travel dates, and room requirements — to process your request.
Accredited payment intermediaries
Encrypted billing data passes to certified financial gateways operating to current PCI-DSS validation standards.
Hosting and cloud services
Tier-1 data centres and content delivery networks hold encrypted backups so the service stays available and recoverable.
Authorities where the law requires
Information may be released where a lawful subpoena, court order, or official mandate requires it, or to protect vital interests.

5. Digital identifiers and measurement

Cookies and browser storage let us recognise repeat visitors, remember currency and layout preferences, evaluate site performance, and preserve session integrity. You retain complete control through your browser, but switching off essential cookies degrades enquiry functionality.

6. Safeguards and how long we keep records

Layered administrative, technical, and physical controls protect records against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, or extraction. These include TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest, segregated database clusters, and role-restricted credentials.

Retention lasts no longer than the enquiry, any related correspondence, audit obligations, or a statutory holding period demand. At expiry, records are erased permanently or anonymised irrevocably.

7. Rights and choices available to you

Where your jurisdiction provides them, and once we have verified who you are, the following rights are available:

Right of access
Receive a copy of the data we hold about you, in a portable form, along with an explanation of its use.
Correction
Request prompt correction of profile information that is wrong, partial, or out of date.
Right to erasure
Ask for records to be deleted where no statutory or contractual basis for keeping them remains.
Right to restrict processing
Restrict our use of your data during any dispute over accuracy or over our grounds for processing.

Your opt-out options

Control over the collection and use of your personal information rests with you. Where local law provides for it, the following choices apply:

Sharing and sale of your data
Where the CCPA/CPRA in California or similar laws in other jurisdictions apply, you can opt out of your personal information being sold or shared with third parties. We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of the term, though some data is shared with trusted partners to deliver or improve the service.
Cookies and tracking
Use your browser's settings, or the consent tool on this site, to manage or reject cookies and other tracking technologies.
Marketing communications
Opt out of promotional messages and newsletters using the unsubscribe link in any communication, or by writing to us.
Withdrawal of consent
Any consent you have given may be withdrawn at any point. Doing so does not render unlawful the processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Requests to exercise these rights, or to opt out, can be sent to [email protected] or submitted through our contact form.

8. Changes to this notice

Molvireta may revise this notice to reflect regulatory developments or changes to the service. Material amendments appear on this page with a new effective date, and continued use of the site after publication indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
